Dan Rath is a multi-award winning, internationally touring Australian comedian with enough parking ticket debt to cripple a small European country. His breakout solo hour, TROPICAL DEPRESSION (2025) won the Best of the Fest Award at Sydney Comedy Festival and Director’s Choice at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Later that year, Dan was named a New Face of Comedy at JFL Montreal. His set went viral on release, with over 270k views in 48 hours. In November, he was handpicked to feature on The Alt Showshowcase at JFL Sydney. 

Dan has gone on to perform headline shows to packed rooms at Edinburgh Fringe, Soho Theatre London and clubs around Europe. He has received industry recognition for past solo shows including, ALL QUIET CARRIAGE ALONG THE INNER WEST LINE (Winner – Piece of Wood Award: MICF 2023) and BUBBLE BATH (Nominated – Best Newcomer: MICF 2019). 

Dan’s debut special, I’M NOT DOING WELL FOLKS (2024), was released by 800 Pound Gorilla and has racked up over 120k views on YouTube to date. He is the co-host of cult-hit comedy podcast Neurotic News, alongside Damien Power.
