Jimeoin (born James Eoin Stephen Paul McKeown on 24 January 1966 in Portstewart, Northern Ireland) is an Irish-Australian stand-up comedian celebrated for his observational humour, playful physicality, and relaxed storytelling style. He moved to Australia in the late 1980s and began performing on the local comedy circuit, quickly building a reputation for his sharp timing and everyman perspective.

His breakthrough came in 1992 when he won the Best Newcomer Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, launching him into national prominence. During the 1990s he became a familiar face on Australian television, appearing on sketch comedy program Full Frontal and later starring in his own series, The Jimeoin Show. His television work, combined with relentless touring, cemented his status as one of Australia’s leading comedians.

Beyond Australia, Jimeoin has enjoyed strong success in the United Kingdom and Ireland, regularly performing at major comedy festivals and selling out theatres. His comedy focuses on the humour found in everyday life relationships, social awkwardness, and the absurdity of ordinary situations often delivered with expressive facial reactions and subtle physical comedy.
